This wall hanging was for my friend Sonia who unwrapped the quilt top at her birthday brunch. Sonia received the completed quilt in early Nov. 2011. I purchased the pattern for this wall hanging from Quiltmaker magazine ("designed by the editors of Quiltmaker"), but added the brown sashing between the blocks. I did buy a few fat quarters of fabric for the bluejay and the robin, but mostly used fabric from my stash.
