Something Fishy : SNAP Quilt, June 2014

The cream-colored fish print was a paint-stained men's shirt donated to SNAP a couple of years ago. I combined it with anther fish fabric, a weedy gray print, and a dark blue/black check in a single large block pattern called "Four-Four Time" (BB# 2421). Made in time for Father's Day.

I experimented by using folded corners on the back instead of making a full sleeve across the back. I also tried a new way of making a label -- tracing a paper printout of the title text I wanted ("Something Fishy") on fabric.
