Mom's Door Quilts : Alabama Snow Birds, January 2020-2022

Despite being on a fabric diet, I bought this great bird print online. It has chickadees, cardinals, purple finches, and downy woodpeckers on bare trees with tiny dots of snow. I made it into door quilt for Mom's room using the Attic Windows pattern and added a few larger, iridescent snowflake sequins. Sometime during January 2020, I found 4 glittery white snowflakes (plastic) and sat in Mom's room to sew these additions to the corners of "Snow Birds."

In 2022 I added large and small clear or iridescent red beads over the some of the berries.
