Made for Shelley Z.'s baby Kevin. Shelley sent me the ideograms for Kevin's Chinese name which I embroidered on the quilt label. The blocks have been made in the Ohio Star pattern with the symbols of the Chinese zodiac embroidered in the center with both Chinese and English labels for Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig.
When I asked her for suggestions, Shelley just said "something bright" so this Rainbow Jungle fabric seemed to fit with both her color preference and the zodiac animal theme.
