A New Leash on Life Quilts

A whole bag of blocks and small unfinished quilt tops were donated to ANLOL Market Place in Sept. 2011. I will be finishing them and giving them to the shop to sell.

City Cats & Country Cats, Oct. 2011

I just needed a nice backing fabric (the country cats) and added the varigated embroidered cats in each corner of the front (the city cats).

Partially finished quilt was donated to A New Leash on Life Market Place thrift store in late summer or early fall 2010. It had been done pillowcase-style and partially tied with peach and forest green pearl cotton. I took out all the ties and unstitched the turned edges. I re-layered the quilt ,machine quilted the center in a stipple pattern, did straight lines in the inner border and green leaves in the outer border. I added a darked green and pink flowered binding which was stitched in place with a heavy peach thread. Fused label on the back says "Quilt donated to A New Leash on Life; finished by Anne Tinker ; 2010 Plea Market"
