Mom's Winter Lap Quilt, Jan 2008
The 1862 Currier & Ives print "Central Park" was used to produce the fabric that inspired me to make this quilt for Mom.
The blocks are made in the Cypress pattern, set on point, and the fabric colors are meant to go with Mom's living room.
I spent several days practicing free motion
quilting in a meander pattern using a blue varigated thread.
