This was a surprise for Mom's birthday. I'd never made any variation on
the Flower Basket pattern, or done a quilt with blocks set on point. This
was mostly a scrap quilt with a few special fabrics, including a pink
floral from my college graduation dress and a yellow daisy print from some
of Mom's old kitchen curtains.
The back, a brown toile, was purchased to match the curtains in Mom's TV room.
