Baby Quilt for Erin Claire S., May 2004, daughter of Geoff and Claudia
This pattern is "Sugar Cone", and is made in cranberry and sage prints (as Claudia requested). The center went together very quickly, but I took my time with my first real applique project -- the border of flowers and leaves accented with embroidered birds, butterflies, and bugs. The stems are commercial seam binding. The backing fabric is a pale sage green plush blanket fabric.
