A mystery quilt for my new great-niece Elise Charlene, born March. 16, 2011.
My local quilt guild presented "clues" each month to make this quilt.
First, they told you what sort of colors to select (6 fabrics from black to white, a 'zinger' and 4 other colors). Then they would tell you to cut so many squares, triangles, and strips and sew them together in a certain order. Anyway, you ended up with blocks like this:
