Historical Reproductions #1 : Crazy Quilt Wall Hanging

In 2008, I made a small reproduction Victorian crazy quilt to show at the Folklife Festival. I paper pieced cotton scraps, then used either fancy sewing machine stitches or ribbon over various seams. My friend Lisa had given me a bag of fancy trims and laces, and I used those as well as a bag of purchased iron-on patches. The final quilting was a simple block outline and diagonals (backing was pieced upholstery velvet)
