Betsy's Lap Garden (Oct. 2016)
Made for Betsy's hospital bed, this quilt uses a reduced version of this Elise pattern by Janet Page Kessler. The flowering herb print (1 yd for .50 from the thrift store) was the only fabric purchased for this quilt: all the rest were from my stash. She did not actually need it, and had me take it back to my house where it hangs in my sun room.
The botanical print used on the back was overdyed with coffee to take it from oyster white to more of a parchment shade. Free motion quilted in diagonal lines of alternating flowers and leaves.
