Kitty Coffee : Ark Needy Paws Telethon wall hanging, Sept. 21, 2014
I'd bought the Kitty Coffee fabric (Java Cats from Joann Fabrics) maybe 8 years ago, thinking to use it for a Needy Paws telethon quilt, but struggled with just the right design. I knew I was going to use it this year, so tried out various designs in Photoshop. As time grew shorter I finally decided on Fairies in the Glen as a design that would feature the main fabric but use a number of other fabrics as well.
The blue with brown dots was bought at the same time as the Java Cats, but the other fabrics were scraps or recent thrift store finds, and the plain blue in the outer border and the hanging sleeve is from a thrift store sheet.
