Dining With Friends, July 2011 /AIDS Action Coalition Fundraiser

This machine-pieced and machine quilted lap quilt was made from a pattern in the Feb.Mar 2011 issue of Quilter's World, designed by Barbara Witman.
After modifying the pattern from using 3 1/2" to 2 1/2" squares, I started this quilt at my guild's Feb. stich day. I finished the top in weeks using scraps from my stash, although it is not a charm quilt, since I used fabrics more than once. The quilt was backed with leftover blocks and a multicolored seersucker fabric, and quilted in concentric wavy lines.
